Fruits and veggies, fruits and veggies!!!!

So today is my first day of my transition to juicing and I can already say I'm tried of salads. I started eating them yesterday and I am trying to use the veggies that I will drinking for the fast that I normally don't eat. I hate it. I was soo tempted to go to Wendy's this morning but I didn't. It's going to be hard to get through this week of transitioning but I am determined.

Natural hair update: I am so happy. I have had my braids in for two weeks and I already have a half an inch of new growth. They are starting to look at little raggedy so I am going to need to figure how to preserve the for the next month and a half. So if you have any advice, feel free to tell me.

Juice fast Transition week

I blog with BE Write

For the first o April, I will be just eating veggies and fruits and drinking a lot of water before my fast begins next Sunday. I am excited.

Today, I decided to just try something new for me. Let's just say.. I dont like carrots or tomatoes or fruit n salad.

And here... We have it all.
Salad: mixed greens, alfalfa sprouts, shredded carrots, grape tomatoes, one strawberry topped with a few drops of goat cheese and a drizzle of balsalmic vinegar and evoo. It was only 211 calories. :). Awesome!!! :)

You should try. It's actually pretty good.

Workout update and juice fast.

I dont know if on the first day I went too hard but day 2 and 3 have Been a little less than perfect. I started the workout but by the thirty minutes I was hurting way too much. I going to finish the last 45 minutes tonight. Or at least I am going to try.

So part of my 101 things is to do an one week juice fast. After watching Sick, Fat and nearly dying, I am now more convinced to do it. For the month of April, my best friend and I do something every April in order to commemorate Something I really can't talk about. She usually gives up meat. This year I am doing the same as well as Facebook. I am gong to incorporate the juice fast into it. Wish me luck. This is going to be a bumpy ride. :)

*update* march 30- bought my juicer and 15 pound weights! :)

2. Do 50 pushups

I havent gotten to 50 quite yet but today I started p90x because I didnt get past the first day the other time(s) lol. I am so proud of myself. I did not only my first non-girly standard pushup, 12 regular standard pushups. AND 8 lb weights are now too light so I have to go up to 10 or 12.!!!! I'm happy. I have decided that if I can get back 8 reps with my weights, I need to go up.i am nt going to strain myself to much but today I was able to do almost 20 reps on everything. Yay!!!

Also there is a new workout program called Tapout XT. It looks great. Maybe after I finish two rounds of p90x, I will try it.

Well good luck on your journeys,

Latrice
