Update on my life

I know, I know. I haven't been writing lately. I apology for neglecting you. Many people probably don't read my blog and that is completely fine. My blog is to write down my thoughts and accounts in my life that i would like to remember years from now. I apparently have horrible long term memory. I say this because some of the things I have written, I honesty do not remember writing. LOL..

First news of the day. I have BC'd again. I made a mistake and put a perm in my hair to do with this weave I glued in my hair in January. Yes, I said permed and glued... yes.. so last night my best friend did my the honor of chopping my hair of one last time. I told her if i ever decided to perm my hair again to just slap me. "I may relfex and hit you back but I will try not to hit too hard." So last night.. well technically this morning at 12:19am, my natural hair pursuit brgan again. I am happy to say I am dedicated to continue to stay on this journey for a long time. After seeing how my hair was when i put the relaxer in my hair, I was upset at myself. You know what though, it was a lesson learned.

Second. My days are brighter.. though mnothing in my life has changed for the better or worse, my days are brighter. I can really complain. I have two jobs, which a lot of people can't say now a days. i have a boyfriend that cares for me, friendships to last a lifetime, and hope to last me eternity. I know that God has a handle on everything. All I have to do is trust in Him and His word. And thanks to my prayer partners I have learned some things. This is what we can do in order to "ensure" that we provided with what we need. Write down a list of what you would like God to do. After you write the list or letter, pray to God and ask his to provide it (if it is in his will). You can carry this letter with you whenever you go or just keep it in your bible. But whenever you feel doubt rising, just tell God.. give Him thanks in advance. Thank him everything that he has given you so far in life.. A place to live, food, your life. Thank Him for resolving your issue or whatever it is you wrote on your list. Just continue the process. Whenever you feel like giving up, just tell Him.. Thank you. It may seem repetitive but do it. Eventually, everything will start falling in place. Don't the praise stop then.. continue to thank Him.

Go to Him with an open heart and a clear mind and remember as we grow in our knowledge of God, through his divine power he gives us everything we need for life and godliness.

Thirdly. I have been reading this book for three years now and i have now finally gotten past chapter 2. It's not that its a bad book, i just wasn't ready for what it had to say. The book I am reading is called 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' by Joshua Harris. It is a Christian book and it is not really about kissing dating goodye. lol it's about approaching dating as being a Christian correctly. it's a good book. and i found things out myself and my relationships that i need to reevaluate. That is my next and new journey in life. You should read this book. Yes, YOU!! before you read another anwesome book I did read three years ago was 'I Say a Prayer For Me' by Stanice Anderson. Read it, I guarantee you will love it. You will laugh, cry, get mad as transitition with from drug addiction to becoming a Woman of God. Yes, many people have this story but this is really an awesome book.

Ok well I guess that's it for today. I pray that all is well with you.

♥ & Blessings,

Latrice

You might find my blog of interest where I critique Josh Harris's book.

I Kissed Dating Goodbye: Wisdom or Foolishness?

Unfortunately Josh Harris is quick to point out the problems with dating but reluctant to share any of the problems with his approach.

Hope this helps.
